Latonya Ellerbee is the Professional Development Chair for NSBE Houston Professionals and leads/manages all aspects of professional development including planning and execution of all professional development programs.

Latonya has a BS in Computer Science from Grambling State University.

​

Latonya has worked in the Oil and Gas Industry for over 25 years as an IT Consultant where she specializes in the implementation of upstream oil and gas systems including land management, revenue accounting and production operations.  Latonya currently works as an independent IT consultant in the SAP PRA space.

​

Latonya’s goal this year is to provide professional development programs on a quarterly basis and continue to organize general body meetings that are both engaging and enriching.

​

Latonya has been a member of NSBE for only a year and what makes NSBE great to her is the opportunity to connect/collaborate with black ambitious professionals of various ages and stages in their career.

In her spare time, Latonya enjoys roller skating, fitness training, traveling, and football.
