Daysia M. Cumbo is the Treasurer for NSBE Houston Professionals and leads and manages all aspects of developing, directing, coordinating, and monitoring all chapter funding and fundraising activities to support the chapter operations and programs and managing the chapter financial accounts. 

Daysia, who’s a recent college graduate, holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting degree from Lamar University.

 

Daysia works in the finance industry, having spent a month as a Financial Service Representative where she assist members with loan applications and perform member account maintenance.

 

Daysia’s goal this year as Treasurer is to get a better understanding of micromanaging different finance duties at one time as well becoming more knowledgeable about her position. 

 

Daysia has been a member of NSBE for two months now and what makes NSBE great to her are the networking opportunities it’s provide young African Americans  to further their career goals.

 

In her spare time, Daysia enjoys listening to music, painting, and taking walks on the beach.
